My work is informed by the ragged edges where human spaces and nature meet. I seek stillness and decay, textures crafted by wind and rain and sun, human spaces not meant for humans. I am directly inspired by the New Topographics works of Lewis Baltz, Robert Adams, and Stephen Shore along with contemporary photographers like Devin Lunsford and Andrew Tesdahl. My work aims to capture the works of humans freed of human concern, to remove context and allow form and light to speak its own truth to the observers eye.
“The ideal photographic document would appear to be without author or art.”
